Songs of Faith Hymn Study Teacher Guide
Do you ever sing a hymn and stumble over a phrase you don't quite understand? This study helps a whole class sing with understanding.
Songs of Faith Hymn Study by Rick Brown and Jason Miller is a 13-lesson class study of the hymns churches sing. This is the Teacher Guide.
How This Study Helps
Many Christians sing the same hymns for years without stopping to think about what the words mean. Some phrases are unfamiliar, and it's easy to wonder whether our singing really fulfills what Scripture asks of it.
This 13-lesson study guides a class through discussion of the songs of faith churches sing, looking at the words and at the biblical truths behind them. When a congregation understands what it sings, singing becomes more heartfelt and builds more unity, encouragement, and praise.
