Plenty of us have started a read-through-the-Bible plan and lost our way somewhere in Leviticus or the back half of the prophets. Part of the trouble is that the Bible isn't arranged as one timeline. This journal puts it back in order, so you can follow the story the way it unfolded.

You'll read Job alongside the patriarchs. David's psalms show up in the middle of his life, right where he wrote them. Kings and Chronicles run side by side, and each prophet speaks in the days of the kings he confronted. The four Gospels are blended into one account of the life of Christ, and Paul's letters appear in Acts where he wrote them. A year from the day you begin, you'll have walked from the garden in Genesis to the city in Revelation.

The pages aren't dated, so you can start in January, in June, or the day after you buy it. Write the date at the top of each page as you go. If life gets in the way for a few days, you simply pick up with the next day in the journal without any blank pages staring back at you.
