How This Journal Helps
Most reading plans start on January 1, and missing a few days leaves a trail of blank pages that's discouraging to look at. On top of that, the Bible isn't arranged as one timeline, so it's easy to lose the thread.
You'll read Job alongside the patriarchs. David's psalms show up in the middle of his life, right where he wrote them. Kings and Chronicles run side by side, and each prophet speaks in the days of the kings he confronted. The four Gospels are blended into one account of the life of Christ, and Paul's letters appear in Acts where he wrote them.
The pages aren't dated, so you can begin in January, in June, or the day after you buy it. Write the date as you go, and if life gets in the way, simply pick up with the next day. A year from the day you begin, you'll have walked from Genesis to Revelation.
