During a time when God is cast aside, ignored, minimized and “casualized” (and that’s by His own people!), it’s refreshing to read Bruce Green’s book “Too Wonderful For Me”. Bruce takes the reader through the Bible instead of merely landing in one place of Scripture to make a point, and He shines a light on the unlimited and majestic wonder of God, and who He is. Of course, this means that we, as disciples, are forced to examine our own view of the Almighty, and decide whether we have lost our wonder of Him. But that’s a good thing, and Bruce offers us a hand of assistance in so doing.
I recommend “Too Wonderful For Me” to anyone who desires to know God more fully. Bruce uses simple, yet effective, illustrations and experiences to bring home the point that God cannot be bound, even in the recesses of the human mind. He is simply too big, and too wonderful! This book is both uplifting and challenging, which should inspire the people of God to grow in their walk with Him. I believe you’re in for an adventure with “Too Wonderful For Me”. But above all, you’re in for a blessing, because it’s all about God! And that’s WHO we all need.
