Aging is a fact of life. Growing old doesn't mean it's time to step back from the work of God's kingdom.

Learning to Sing at Midnight is a 12-lesson workbook by Joanne Beckley for women in the later seasons of life.

How This Study Helps

Not much is written for Christian women about growing older. Retirement, a changing body, an empty house, and a culture that sidelines older people can leave a woman wondering what she still has to offer.

This study shows the spiritual strength and wisdom that come through a lifetime of experience. It covers society and aging, the changes and adjustments that follow retirement, how to keep growing spiritually, and the hindrances most women meet along the way. Even as we grow older, we can keep maturing in Christ.

Format & Features

Twelve chapters in a 76-page, 8.5 x 11 coil-bound workbook. It's also available as a PDF eBook for personal use or for a class.

Who It's For

Ladies' Bible classes, women approaching or in retirement, and younger women who want to understand and encourage the older women in their lives.

Common Questions

Can I use it to teach a class?
Yes. Its 12 chapters fit a quarter of weekly classes. Order a workbook for each woman, or choose the class-use PDF.
