Peter told Christians to always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you (1 Peter 3:15). Few questions test that readiness like this one. Some people feel sure of heaven on the strength of a feeling, and some faithful saints never let themselves rest in God's promises at all. John wrote so that we could know we have eternal life, and this card follows the Scriptures from the gospel we obey to the grace that keeps us. It's a 5 × 8 study card, printed front and back. The front covers God's desire for you to know, the obedience of faith, what He promises the obedient, and salvation by grace. The back covers the tests of 1 John, what to do when a Christian sins, the difference between assurance and presumption, and help when doubts come.
