Studying New Testament Churches
The first churches weren't perfect, and their mistakes teach as much as their faithfulness.
Studying New Testament Churches is a 12-lesson workbook by Carl McMurray.
How This Study Helps
Christians who want to follow the New Testament pattern need to know what the early churches actually did. It's easy to substitute tradition for that study.
This workbook presents both what the early churches got right and what they got wrong, with lessons for 21st-century Christians. Carl McMurray acknowledges it may challenge some traditional viewpoints; his aim is to learn from their mistakes and follow where they were divinely guided.
