Save a Church from Dying: Ideas for Church Growth
Where will your congregation be in 20 years? In 50?
Save a Church from Dying: Ideas for Church Growth is a 105-page book by Joseph Sullivan.
How This Book Helps
Churches of Christ in the United States are shrinking, and if nothing changes, many congregations meeting today will not exist in a generation. In much of the brotherhood, almost no one is talking about it.
Sullivan lays out the statistics plainly, then turns to what can be done. He presents Bible-based evangelism strategies and real examples of congregations that are growing now, and he makes the case that if enough churches put them into practice, the tide can turn.

About the Author
Joseph Sullivan preaches and does evangelism work in the Tampa, Florida, area. He was trained in outreach by evangelist Royce Bell in California, where he preached in the poorer communities of San Bernardino alongside evangelists from around the country. Carl McMurray and Ricky Shanks first inspired him to take up outreach work, and his parents, Bill and Jeanne Sullivan, remain his greatest earthly role models. His other Spiritbuilding title is Making It Work: Three Proven Techniques for Evangelism.
