Narratives of Apostles' Companions: Spreading the Gospel by Ric Keaster
Scripture tells us they preached, traveled, suffered, and built churches. It rarely tells us what was going on inside them.
Narratives of Apostles' Companions: Spreading the Gospel by Ric Keaster lets twelve men and women who carried the message out from Jerusalem tell their own stories.
How This Book Helps
The companions of the apostles are easy to skim past in Acts and the letters, yet their courage and faithfulness helped build the church we inherit.
Ric Keaster imagines what these people thought and felt: Barnabas vouching for Saul, John Mark turning back and later being restored, Stephen as the stones began to fly. Every story stays anchored in the biblical text, and each one draws readers deeper into Scripture.
