A Study of the Minor Prophets by Chad Sychtysz
Twelve short books, mostly overlooked, with a lot to say about God's justice and His mercy.
A Study of the Minor Prophets is a 246-page study by Chad Sychtysz covering all twelve books from Obadiah to Malachi.
How This Study Helps
The Minor Prophets get skipped in most Bible reading plans and most Bible classes. They're short, their settings are unfamiliar, and it isn't always clear when each prophet spoke or to whom. Yet these books reveal God's character as clearly as anything in the Old Testament.
Sychtysz gives each book a detailed introduction and overview, with the historical setting and the theological message laid out clearly. He explains the prophets' role as God's spokesmen, the interplay of judgment and hope in their preaching, and the way their words look ahead to God's eternal purpose fulfilled in Christ, with practical application throughout.
What's Inside
