Help! I'm Looking for a New Church Home

Finding a new church home can feel overwhelming. Some churches are too big, some are cold, and all of them claim to have the truth. This tract helps a searcher know what to look for.

Help! I'm Looking for a New Church Home is a tract by Matthew Allen for people who've moved, left a congregation, or are searching for the first time. It gives a simple, biblical checklist for choosing a church.

Why Hand Out This Tract

People looking for a church are often tired and tempted to give up. This tract encourages them to begin with prayer and then look for a church that teaches only what the Bible says, puts reaching the lost first, has approachable leaders and a warm family atmosphere, and takes teaching its young people seriously. It ends with a warm invitation to visit your Bible classes and worship.

What It Covers

• Begin with prayer: 1 Peter 5:7
• Teaching: a church that teaches only what the Bible says, with Jesus as the authority (Colossians 3:17)
• Mission and leadership: a church focused on the gospel, with approachable leaders and a family atmosphere
• Youth: an organized Bible class program that puts spiritual growth ahead of entertainment

Ways to Use It

It's ideal for visitor packets, welcome tables, and mailings to new residents. Give one to a visitor after services or to a friend who's just moved to town.
