Fighting Back Against Porn

Pornography is everywhere, and it's wrecking marriages, families, and young lives. This tract says the fight can be won and shows Christians how to fight it.

Fighting Back Against Porn is a tract edited and adapted by Matthew Allen. It speaks to churches, parents, husbands, elders, preachers, and individual Christians about protecting moral purity in a culture flooded with pornography.

Why Hand Out This Tract

Many Christians are fighting this battle in secret, and many churches don't know where to start. This tract names the problem honestly, reminds readers that the early church overcame the sexual lewdness of its own day, and gives practical, biblical steps for guarding the mind, avoiding temptation, and finding help.

What It Covers

• You can win: how first-century Christians overcame sexual immorality, and the armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-13)
• The scope of the problem: the reach of the porn industry and its harm to young people
• Guard your mind and avoid temptation: Proverbs 4:23, Job's covenant with his eyes, and fleeing youthful lusts
• Get help: memorizing Scripture, planning a way of escape, accountability software, and a mature Christian helper (James 5:16; Galatians 6:1-2)

Ways to Use It

Place it where men and young people will see it, use it in men's and youth classes, or give it privately to someone who has asked for help. Elders and preachers can keep a few on hand for counseling.
