A Day That Changed Your Life Forever

Many men claimed to be the Messiah. Only one came back from the grave. This tract shows why the empty tomb changes everything for the person holding it.

A Day That Changed Your Life Forever is a gospel tract by Matthew Allen on the death and resurrection of Jesus. It walks a reader from the cross to the empty tomb and shows how Christ's victory over death can change their life.

Why Hand Out This Tract

People who doubt the resurrection, and many who simply haven't thought about it, need to see that it rests on real evidence. This tract lays out the facts plainly, then moves to what they mean: freedom from the fear of death and freedom from sin through Jesus' blood. It ends with a clear invitation to let His work change your life.

What It Covers

• What makes Jesus different: the empty tomb, the guards and the stone, the 500 witnesses, and disciples willing to die for what they saw
• The Passover and the cross: how Jesus died as the Lamb of God on the very day the Passover lambs were killed
• Freedom from fear: the living hope the resurrection gives (1 Peter 1:3-5)
• Freedom from sin: Jesus' blood, and meeting it in baptism (Romans 6:3-4; 1 Peter 3:21)

Ways to Use It

It's a natural tract for Easter and the Lord's Supper season, and a good fit for visitor packets and tract racks year-round. Hand it to a friend who wonders why Christians believe Jesus rose, or use it to open a study on baptism.
