Dennis Tucker is the son of Elvie and Wrinda Tucker. He was born in Louisville, Kentucky. Growing up he worked on his father’s farm in Butler County. Dennis graduated from Pleasure Ridge Park High School in 1975, the University of Kentucky with a Bachelors in Business Administration in 1979 and a Bachelors in Accounting in 1980. Later on he enrolled at Arkansas State and earned a Masters in Business Administration in 2003.

Dennis attended the training program conducted by Kelly Ellis and Steve Wolfgang at Danville, Kentucky in the early 1980’s. In 1983 he entered a training program at the Northeast church of Christ, Carl McMurray was the fulltime evangelist, in Gainesville, Florida. Dennis has preached in Shoals, IN, Trenton, FL, Wilburton, OK, Flatwood, KY, Tuckerman, AR, (While at Tuckerman he had a radio and television program),Jonesboro, AR, and is currently preaching for the Westside Church of Christ in Owensboro, KY.

While preaching in Shoals, Dennis met and married Regena Thompson, the daughter of Fred and Lavonne Thompson. They have three children, Eli Thompson, Hope Lauren, and Noah Grace (yes, Noah is a girl, Joshua 17.3). Dennis made one evangelistic trip to Russia and has written for various publications including: Faith & Facts, Truth Magazine, Gospel Truths, and Preceptor.
