Does Every Church Teach the Gospel?

"Pray this prayer." "Just believe." Churches offer many versions of the gospel, but Paul said there is only one. This tract helps a reader find it in Scripture.

Does Every Church Teach the Gospel? is a gospel tract by Matthew Allen. It explains what the gospel is, why it matters, and how a person can know they are in Christ.

Why Hand Out This Tract

Many sincere people have been told they're saved by steps the Bible never gives. This tract gently shows that there is one gospel, explains the problem of sin and God's answer in Christ, and walks through what the New Testament says about faith, repentance, and baptism. It closes by asking the reader whether they will accept God's terms of grace.

What It Covers

• There is only one gospel: Galatians 1:6-9 and the "different gospels" people are offered today
• The problem of sin: what sin is and why no amount of good works can remove it
• The way out: God's grace in His sinless Son, and saving faith that believes and acts
• Knowing you're in Christ: repentance and baptism into His death (Romans 6:3-4; Acts 22:16), as acceptance of a free gift

Ways to Use It

Keep it in your tract rack and visitor packets, and give it to friends who've been taught a different plan of salvation. It's a helpful follow-up after a conversation about baptism or the start of a home Bible study.
