Prove Yourself a Man - A Teen Guys Guide to Growing in Christ

In 1 Timothy 4:12, Paul charged Timothy with these words: “Let no one look down on your youthfulness, but rather in speech, conduct, love, faith, and purity, show yourself an example of those who believe.”

This charge sets the bar for all young Christian men, showing the qualities they should be striving to attain and establishing the idea that they will be looked at to set the example of what a Christian looks like. As one grows from a boy into a man, the challenge has been set to pursue these ideals. 

So, drawing on Paul’s charge to Timothy, this book aims to walk teenaged young men through the principles of speech, conduct, love, faith, and purity. Each chapter discusses how to manifest those characteristics in the challenges of everyday life and asks questions to push the reader to truly think about how to step up to the plate.
