A Scriptural Consideration of Baptism

There is perhaps no more hotly debated topic in the religious world than baptism. The act of baptism is used in different ways by various religious groups. For example, some believe baptism is necessary for salvation while others say it’s not. Some believe baptism should be conducted on children while others feel only adults (or believers) should be baptized. Then there is the mode of baptism. Some think sprinkling or pouring is all right while other people think immersion is the way it should be administered.
