He and his late wife had three children, five grandchildren, and several great grandchildren. After his wife’s death he remarried in 2002 and enjoyed love with his second wife until she passed away in 2025. After living in South Carolina for fifteen years, he currently resides in Avon, In. in a senior living facility. Randy received his Purdue Master Gardener certification in Hamilton County, Indiana in 2004 and has been an avid gardener ever since in his retirement.
